Only works well on a high heat setting...,

I bought this curling brush for travel since it is lightweight. It isn't as good as my regular curling brush that works with energy cells and is cordless. But it is fine once you get used to it. The only problem I had with it so far is burning my fingers a few times. This doesn't work on my hair on the low setting so I have to turn it onto high. The heated metal section of the brush really does heat up fast and is not protected by any plastic. So you just have to be super careful. One thing I do like about this brush is the tangle-proof swivel cord.

I love this brush. It has the control on the handle and the plastic teeth/bristles don't break off. It does a great job curling. Previously, I purchased a Vidal Sassoon curling brush, Since that was the brand of my old one which lasted years. But the company that bought them changed the material they made the bristles out of and they broke off so easily that within a month, I couldn't use the brush. They stopped making them.

I was looking for a hot air brush and this item was listed in that category, so this is not what I thought it would be....quite disappointing SunBeam SBPC11 ¾ Inch Brush Iron
