Solis S407T Titan Hair Dryer, 1875 Watts
Solis hair dryers were used at a gym I frequented and that's why I made my initial purchase. They got used every day and lasted several years. In fact, I think there are still a couple of the originals from the late 80's still in the locker room. When they are replaced by a cheaper model, they never seem to last.
My daughter seems to like the Titan just fine. Definitely quieter for her dorm room!
