It seems to get comfortably hot. The cord is pretty long but would love it if it were I bit longer, but I'm just picky. I also wish the string clasped the edges of the cap around my head so the heat wouldn't escape. I feel like I'm losing heat out the back because it's open.

You won't find me writing may reviews but I had to defend this heat cap! I have had the cap about six months now and I love it. I use it on my relaxed hair as well as my two daughters who are natural. The cap has the three settings and I use high now what I found out is that the cap will get hot then shut off and start back up again. I really like this because having something very hot on your head constantly can be a pain sometimes. So as for me once I understood how it worked I look forward to my deep conditioner days (twice a week). My girls like it as well and I am able to wear my glasses, surf the web and use my kindle with no problems. It leaves our hair sooo soft would tell everyone to buy this product.

i bought the Gold'nHot professional conditioning heat cap GH3400 from Belson and i cant get it back to the store fast enough! it is way too big and goes down half your face making it impossible to wear glasses and read or do anything for that matter. Please don't buy this you'll be sorry there are much better products out there to choose from and this is certainly not a professional product at all. i would never put one of these on my clients heads and i'm sorry i spent the money on it i hope i will be able to get a refund. What a disappointment!!!!
