I've used this brand for many years and have this particular one. They are amazing and reliable. Maybe the other reviewer had a bad one? I've had four (kids, 2nd home etc.) and never replaced one in years.

I LOVE this hair dryer. Worked great, never wanted to look back. But it's 3 months later now, and it does not heat up!
It only blows cold air...... It would be great if i could get another one sent to me, and return this one, but my 'return window' is closed...
