Piece of junk,

This hairdryer was fine while it lasted, which was about 3 months. It started smelling as if it was burning when used. Then it stopped working completely. It was never dropped or damaged, and was only used by one person, drying their hair once a day. I emailed Amazon to find out how to get a replacement, and they never responded. I finally called Amazon, and they informed me that after 30 days one has to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer's written materials say you have to ship it back to them, and pay them $8 for return shipping. They then will repair it. Thanks, but for all the hassle of packaging, shipping, and paying for postage back and forth, only to get a "repair," it's just not worth it. I don't expect a hairdryer that cost almost $70 to fall apart with minimal use after three months.

I've used this hair dryer for years to straighten my very curly hair and it's the best by far. I tried one of the T3 dryers and it couldn't come close to this one. At about 60-70 dollars, it's a great deal for the type of professional dryer you're getting. Don't waste your time trying another dryer.

i have this elchim 2001 blow dryer for almost 6 years. I use it every single day, and my customers love the way there hair comes out when i use this blow dryer on there hair. It cuts the time in half and does not burn my clients hair and its easy and light to use.
