Comment: I bought this to replace an older Conair that finally died after about 20 years of daily use. The new unit is impressive: it has significantly stronger airflow yet is much quieter -- in particular, it doesn't have the high-pitched whine you expect from a blow drier. The airflow is very well focused, not diffuse -- although it comes with a diffuser attachment if you prefer that. My only quibble is the on/off switch, which relies on friction between your thumb and its surface in order to slide it. You'll quickly develop a feel for it, but a more traditional switch would have been better. That said, it's a minor thing; overall I'm very happy with the product.
