My husband bought this for me as a gift when my $10 hair dryer died. I had never heard of this hair dryer until it showed up at our door. It's by far the best hair dryer ever. I have very thick hair and with this dryer it's takes no more than five minutes to dry. It's amazing and it leaves my hair soft and shiny.

I have a massive love hate relationship with my CHI dryer. On the one hand, I can't live without it. I'm willing to pay the price for the sheer fact that I can blow dry my hair a lot faster than with other dryers. But, I seem to be having to purchase a new CHI once a year. Something always goes wrong. For example, it was taking longer than normal to dry my hair and I realized that the cold button must be permanently enabled, thus not allowing for the regular hot air stream. My boyfriend, thank god, figured out a way to disable the cold button, which is good but now I can't use the cold shot button. I'd be very happy if CHI can figure out a way to make these things more durable.

I dont have this dryer yet but my fiance's mother is a hair stylist and uses one. Its quite and it makes my hair so soft and shinny! One drawback is that it takes a little longer to dry then my other dryer. Its worth to wait because my other dryer dries my hair out. Cant wait till mine gets here!
