Bumpits 21431 Hair volumizing Leave-in Inserts, Light Brown

One, I was surprised at the hard and inflexible plastic. . .. . and two, you can see the teeth. I have VERY fine hair, and I could not tease my hair so that it would be thick enough to cover the plastic hump. I was excited about this product after seeing it on tv, but it was a WASTE OF MONEY.

last halloween i wanted to do this hair style, thats before bumpits, i had about 3-5 girls trying to help me with this hairstyle, turned out really bad, they all have thick hair, and can do this style, but they told me my hair was too thin. so within the year, i heard about bumpits, i kept wanting to try them, but was skeptical with the bad reveiws on amazon, but i decided to try this hairstyle again this halloween, i was the queen bee, so i thought it would be cute to have a beehive hair style. it didn't take as long as i thought, it only took me a few tries, i used lots of hairspray, the teeth did not show, just make sure its teased(it comes with a fine tooth comb), it looked good also wasn't sure how well it would stay with my tiara infront of it, but it looked good, and stayed nicely. for the finishing touch, i added a few bobby pins to the back, i dont know how nessicary that was, but i wanted to ensure a good hold. i put my hairstyle together around 2pm, and it lasted til...Read more

I was really excited when these came in the mail. When I opened the box, I was a little curious as to why they chose the 3 sizes they did. I have fine hair, but I love big hair. However, I couldn't figure out ANY way for any of these things to work in my hair. They seemed too tall, but more importantly too wide. Maybe I have a small head, but they just didn't fit at all. Even the smallest one was just awkward. All in all I feel like these were a total waste of money.
