My hair stylist uses this dryer and I was thrilled to find it at this price. She paid more than double through her supplier, though of course hers is white and the latest model. However, she and I see no difference at all in performance or features between the two.
The big thing to me: It's noticeably faster and quieter than my old ionic dryer. But it isn't a miracle worker. My hair looks no "healthier" and I've been using it for about 6 weeks. I guess the far infrared is what makes it dry faster, though I have no idea what that is, and don't see anything different.
If you rub your fingers together in front of the airflow, they get a silky feeling. (My old ionic dryer did this too, but less.)
One thing I've definitely noticed is that I must use MUCH less styling product, or my hair feels dirty very quickly. I've cut back to about 30% of the amount I formerly used. Maybe this is because of the "silky" thing I already mentioned; maybe the ions...Read more

I cannot believe I found this dryer for $50! The hairbrush and clips included are nothing special, but the pro dryer price is unbeatable. The same item in its usual white color is no less than $100. Not as light as I thought it would be (~ 1 lb) but very quiet. Recommend.

This is my first pro dryer. I usually just get whatever is at the drugstore and use that. My hairdresser boyfriend told me that a good hairdryer really can make a huge difference. This is the one he uses in his salon, so I decided to give it a try. ($100 discount, why not?) I was unsure about it at first, it didn't seem all that powerful because I was used to the loud wind tunnel of my old Conair dryer, but boy was I shocked when I stayed in one spot to long and it started steaming!! This dryer does not dramatically change my drying time, it might shorten it a bit (I have very long thick hair) BUT, my hair no longer has the fuzziness it did with my old dryer. My hair looks shinier and more finished. It is a steal for the price, and the brush that it comes with is great too! Totally worth it!
