This hot comb works very well.
It straightens my hair very well (although I only use it to get my roots straight, and flat iron the rest) and I don't even have to use the highest heat setting. It's a bit bigger than the average hot comb and the buttons are weirdly placed so that it's easy to make a mistake and turn it off while in use. However, once you get over those minute issues, it does the job and does it well :).
I noticed that this was being shipped from Target, so I actually saved myself the [shipping] money and went to a local Target and got it myself. I'd rate this product for "everyone".

Quick and Easy,

Only use hot combs on my hair a few times a year, because I usually wear natural braid twists. Since I have very coarse, thick, nappy, shoulder length hair that requires high heat to press out, I did not believe this tool would do the job. After applying a small amount of cream satin press to each hair section and placing it on setting 20, I finished my entire head of hair in 20 minutes. Now, I can say good bye to my set of Kentucky Maid pressing combs.
Would recommend higher heat settings and a setting lock on the dial.

I've been looking for something to straighten course hair. All products I've tried have done ok. This is excellent. It gets very very hot and straightens in a short amount of time. No complaints at all.
